CASNE operates as a partnership and our members are all organisations operating in the voluntary sector. We have one partner in each area we cover but can draw on the skills and resources of all members when required. Our current partners are listed below:

Gateshead Voluntary Organisations Council provides advice, information and training, on funding, constitutions, finances and legal charitable structures, to voluntary and community groups in Gateshead. It promotes volunteering, and community involvement in local strategic planning.

We were established for general charitable purposes in 1973. Our overall purpose is to support voluntary and community organisations in the City, to function more effectively.

Community Accounting North East is a Community Interest Company which is a not-for-profit organisation regulated by the Registrar of Companies and aim to make the region more stable and sustainable by providing a low cost easily accessible accountancy service for small businesses, social enterprises, charities and voluntary groups.CANE has a team of qualified accountants across the region who provide confidential out-reach support on a one to one basis.
